Mt. Elbrus is the highest peak in Russia and the tallest mountain in Europe, rising to 5,642 meters (18,510 ft) in the western Caucasus Mountains. As one of the coveted Seven Summits, Mt. Elbrus is a dormant volcanic giant with two summits, West and East where our Mt. Elbrus expedition targets the West Summit (5,642 m) via the southern route. While the southern route on Mt. Elbrus is considered comparatively easier than the northern approach, climbing Mt. Elbrus still demands above-average physical fitness, prior high-altitude experience, and strong mental endurance. Our Mt. Elbrus program emphasizes thorough preparation, absolute safety, and proper acclimatization to ensure a well-paced and strategically planned Mt. Elbrus climb, making Mt. Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters (19,341 ft), rises majestically in northeastern Tanzania near the Kenya border. Formed by three volcanic cones Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira, it is a dormant stratovolcano and one of the world’s most iconic trekking destinations. The mountain offers a rare journey through five distinct ecological zones, from cultivated foothills and lush rainforests to alpine desert and an arctic summit with shrinking glaciers.
