This review is for the Harishchandragad offbeat trek via Nalichi Vaat on 22–23 November 2025.
The trek leaders ensured that only participants with adequate trekking experience and fitness registered for this route, as it is one of the more difficult approaches to Harishchandragad. The batch size was kept intentionally small to help the team stay on schedule and maintain safety.
Along with GAF’s seasoned trek leaders, a highly knowledgeable local guide—well versed with every turn of the route—was also appointed. Thanks to this thorough groundwork and planning, every participant successfully completed this demanding trek. Whenever anyone needed support, the GAF leaders were always right there to assist.
After reaching the fort, the leaders noticed that many participants were exhausted. They thoughtfully rescheduled the Taramati Peak climb to the next morning, allowing everyone to rest well and be fully energized for the adventure ahead.
Overall, this was one of the toughest yet most rewarding treks I’ve ever done.
GAF leaders consistently strive to make their treks as sustainable as possible—no littering, encouraging everyone to carry their own tiffins and cups, and minimizing waste.
A small suggestion: requesting participants to bring their own plates as well would help avoid the use of disposable plates, which often end up being burned later.

The offbeat trek to korai ghat and galvan ghat yesterday (25th Oct 25) was amazing! This unexplored place was worth all the pain. The team leaders were fantastic and the group members were great to trek with! Thank you Giripremi team for arranging such amazing treks
